Job Title: Health Science Teacher

Location: Barnwell County Career Center
              5214 Reynolds Rd, Blackville, SC 29817

Experience: 6 + years nursing experience or hold an up to date SC Teaching certificate for Health Science Education 

Description: Barnwell County Career Center is looking for a health science teacher forthe 2025-2026 school year.

Responsibilities:

• Daily teaching duties include class lecture, lesson planning, and classroom
• management.
• Analyze data to improve instruction and model instructional strategies which promote
• student achievement
• Effectively communicates with students, parents, and other stakeholders
• Evaluating students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
• Maintaining program certification requirements, as appropriate.
• Preparing and maintaining required documentation and administrative reports.
• Ensuring safety and security requirements are met in the classroom and laboratory
• areas.
• Assisting with student recruitment and retention efforts.
• Maintaining student records
• Preparing students to receive certifications such as BLS, PCT, OSHA
